As a parent we are faced with a seemingly never-ending array of options for our children's sports activities. Often there are competing options even within a particular sport. Baseball and softball are perfect examples as we each weigh options between community ball and travel ball – let alone competing sports like soccer and lacrosse.
So with all these options, as a parent I'm sure at some point you all have ask, WHY SABL? What makes SABL the right choice for my child and my family?
SABL is affiliated with Cal Ripken Baseball – A division of the Babe Ruth League and the fastest growing youth baseball organization. As a parent, what does this mean to you? As a member of the Cal Ripken organization, SABL benefits from:
>> The strength of a nationwide organization with Regional and State Championship tournaments
>> A structured development plan from T-ball through age 12.
>> Continuity of rules and approach as a player moves up in age
>> A focus on sportsmanship and teamwork
>> Mandatory background checks for all adults who are involved with players
In addition, SABL differentiates itself from other local leagues by:
>> Offering fair and equitable opportunities at all levels
>> Engaging a highly experienced coaching staff, a large percentage of whom have experience coaching at varsity or collegiate levels or have played at advanced levels beyond college themselves.
>> Multiple facilities – two of which offer lighted fields so players can experience playing “under the lights"
